"kids learn to accept themselves for who they are"
It is so important that you can connect with your kids and this book could help you bridge that gap and bring you closer to your children.
You will meet the Polarians an advanced alien race, the Crystal Warriors and the Earthlings who are bound to protect all from Earth's self destruction.
Being parents ourselves we wanted to create this particular series of books that provides a magical story to engage your children’s imaginations as well as purposely exploring real life issues that many children today experience, either in the school yard or amongst their social peers such as the existence of discrimination and bullying against people from all walks of life.
Our book addresses these issues in aim to breakdown social barriers amongst children and young adults through promoting unity, respect and compassion towards one another by entwining concepts of unconditional love, random acts of kindness, tolerance and acceptance of people’s individuality within the storyline. As well as creating a social awareness of taking responsibility for our environment, and steering away from the emphasis placed on materialism within society as a measure of one’s worth.
The Main Characters
The main characters and hero’s within our first book are people that have unique abilities and gifts, yet have been shunned by their peers due to a lack of understanding thus breeding unnecessary fear and bullying. Our heroes go through personal transformations to grow into confident beings, realising their self-worth and having the courage to live up to their true potential and shine their inner light for others through times of adversity.
Reflection of Reality
We wanted the characters within our books to reflect the reality of young people today. The adolescent years can be difficult for many and providing them with an inspiring story and decent role models that they can relate and look up to just may help them realise too their true potential as human beings and share their own inner spark of light to help others from all walks of life.

As a mother to young children I had the wonderful opportunity to read this book. For young adults this book explores the inevitable decisions they will have to make between good and bad, right and wrong, love and hate along the way. The right choice hard but Polaris Rising demonstrates a hope for the way life could be. This book is imaginative and enticing, the illustrations are magnificent and the overall presentation a beautiful piece of art. The authors and illustrator should be very proud of this wonderful Australian production.
I absolutely loved the book, it's very imaginative and has great messages especially for young people. It took me on an adventurous journey where I got taken to another world and gave me much to think about. Well done.
